Software Engineer (Expert Level)

Active TS/SCI clearance required.

We’re hiring a Technical Lead to anchor a development team on a 200+ FTE program supporting Entitlement Programs and IdAM/ICAM. You’ll own the day-to-day tasking for your team, sit at the table with architects and program leadership on design and planning decisions, and be the technical voice that keeps delivery on track across internal and external integrations. The role stays hands-on — you’ll still write Java and Angular code, review PRs, and shape ETL workflows — but the multiplier here is your judgment: deciding what the team builds next, how it fits the architecture, and how to grow the engineers around you. Bring the experience to make those calls confidently.

Highlights

• 12+ years building production software, with real time spent leading dev teams
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, and Angular (TypeScript); comfortable across the full stack
• AWS and Linux/RHEL fluency — knows what production actually looks like
• Track record working directly with architects on design and planning
• Git, Jenkins, Selenium; Agile/Scrum at a lead level (not just attending standups)
• Mentor by default — gives engineers room to grow and pulls them up when they need it
• Communicates clearly with both technical peers and program stakeholders
